Additional information about our products and our web site.

Our company began as an "extra feature" for parents within a private school and learning center for dyslexic students in Riverside California. This feature was to answer the request of many parents who were seeking information that would help them gain a better understanding of learning issues and, consequently, how to better help their student. Another frequent request was for materials that could be shared directly with students to help them further their understanding of their own learning style. The basic philisophy at our Learning Center was that students benefit greatly from understanding and valuing their own strengths and gifts. At the same time, they need to understand their struggles and why they may learn differently. It is difficult to convince a student to spend the extra time using strategies (no matter how beneficial they may be!) unless he or she has some appreciation of why the strategy may be necessary and how it may help. This collection of books, tapes, and videos is an outgrowth of the original "extra feature" at our school and center. We hope that you enjoy the information and find what you are seeking.

RET Center Press is the name we use to identify our retail on-line business. We also produce and distribute several books by Regina G. Richards.
